Anna Mangiarotti

Architect, ordinary professor of Architecture Technology, she's the daughter of Angelo Mangiarotti.
Since young, a particular sense of curiosity made her explore countries and meet people with their own architecture; her travels are like paths, foundamental source of learning and inspiration.
In academic research and didactics her activity is distinguished by the methodology which guides the architect in planning “from heuristic to executive”; “A project is prevision, anticipation both of the compositive and the executive part of a building”.
In her professional career, as for architectural planning or industrial design, Anna Mangiarotti always aims at a synthesis of poetry and technique, everytime thinking to the sustainability of manufacturing and building process.
